The Transition Manager is responsible for the meticulous planning and timely delivery for the transition of the program from the incumbent. You will be directly responsible for the successful transition of all program work, employees, management, and services from the current contract to the new task order. The Transition Manager will lead a team responsible for the smooth & efficient transition of technical and programmatic support functions and governance processes. delivering outcomes that result in the government achieving a successful contract transition.
Activities will include:
Manage and integrate transition activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance.
Facilitates the creation of communication plans, ensuring that appropriate information is exchanged among key stakeholders.
Manage transition risk, customer relationships, and transition staffing.
Establish appropriate metrics for measuring key transition activities.
Planning, directing, and coordinating a cross-functional team's activities to manage and implement transition activities.
Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on milestones related to the project/program.
Facilitate meetings between management, stakeholders, and the sponsor.
Bachelor's degree, non-degreed incumbents must meet equivalency guidelines
8 years of related professional experience.
Previous relevant contract transitions experience of similar size and scope effort and have the ability to fully represent & commit in matters affecting transition such as hiring, firing etc. (i.e. responsible for implementing the transition plan).
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at the start of this task and must be able to obtain SCI access within 30 days.Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
