Order Processing


The person serves a vital role in the activities of order processing including: order review, order approval, transportation selection, and backorder management. Primary Responsibilities

  • Order management
  • Process all valid orders timely
  • Manage orders with exceptions such as orders with payment holds, measurement confirmations, and orders that need approval of shipping charges to ensure they are processed as quickly as possible
  • Ensure all fulfillments are completed in all applicable systems
  • Send POs to vendors as required to order drop ship product
  • Backorder management

Relationships and Roles

  • Collaborate with warehouse and sales staff to assure everyone is aware of product delays, back orders, special situations
  • Interacts as appropriate with outside vendors.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Administrative or similar skills, at least two years’ experience
  • Associate’s degree in business administration or related discipline is preferred
  • Superior interpersonal skills; diplomatic verbal communicator with ability to clearly convey key information and priorities
  • Demonstrated self-starter who can be highly productive with minimal supervision
  • Technically proficient with MS Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word) and Google Apps (Gmail, Google sheets)

Working Conditions

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

Work Schedule

Sunday - Thursday, day shift - AFTER TWO WEEK TRAINING PERIOD
