Job Description

Family & Children's Place has a full-time opening for a family advocate/MDT coordinator. This professional is responsible for trauma-informed collaboration, training, implementation and coordination of services with multi-disciplinary teams in the KIPDA region of the child advocacy center. The incumbent also provides case management, crisis intervention, information and referral services and advocacy for child victims and their non-offending caregivers. This position utilizes trauma'informed, evidence based practices and policies in its service delivery.


This position requires a bachelor's degree in a mental health discipline with two years' post-degree counselling or clinical experience.
