As a Department Leader in Home Office Talent Acquisition, you will lead multiple teams responsible for hiring student talent, contingent workforce administration, and operational effectiveness for the broader talent acquisition organization. You will collaborate with other TA, HR, and division leaders on thought and people leadership, execution of department objectives, and stewarding a great work environment. The success of your teams will primarily be measured by the quality of their consultative services to both candidates and hiring leaders, attracting diverse talent to the firm, and ensuring we hire the best quality talent in a timely fashion.

Responsibility Summary:
  • Responsible for overall recruiting, performance and development of Home Office Recruiting Teams that are responsible for fulfilling the staffing needs of Home Office divisions in both the US and Canada.
  • Developing and executing staffing plans in collaboration with the division Human Resources teams and business leaders to meet the current and projected business needs of each division.
  • Responsible for developing effective recruitment sourcing programs that enable the recruiter to provide hiring leaders diverse, qualified candidate pools within appropriate time frames.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining legally defensible and effective hiring processes for the firm to include integration with the legal department and compliance area as necessary.
  • Develop and manage strong business relationships with internal service receivers, internal/external candidates and internal/external vendors such as outside recruitment/staffing agencies.
  • Maintain a constant and steady focus on the local and national talent/labor market and disseminate competitive intelligence to business areas and human resources leadership.
  • Discover, interpret, and deliver data insights to inform departmental processes and talent related business decisions

Qualifications Required in the Job:
  • Bachelor degree strongly preferred with emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field.
  • SPHR preferred.
  • Minimum of seven years of corporate recruiting experience, functional experience including University Recruiting and Contingent Workforce Management leadership preferred
  • Minimum of five years experience leading/managing a diverse team of individuals and multiple teams.
  • Experience in project leadership, process design and improvement by measuring effectiveness of area(s) preferred. Training available
  • Must have experience and strong ability to develop and implement effective recruitment sourcing programs to successfully identify and hire qualified, diverse candidates expediently.
  • Must have strong ability to analyze current recruitment processes and develop solutions to complex issues.
  • Must be able to allocate resources appropriately to fill open positions within department.
  • Must have a strong ability to interact and partner effectively with individuals of varied levels of authority.
  • Excellent presentation, oral and written communication and negotiation skills required.
