ILA a non-profit agency devoted to providing residential services to developmentally disabled adults has a current opening for a Behavioral Intervention Specialist.Skills: Master’s Degree in a clinical or treatment field in psychology, school psychology, or a related human services fieldKnowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis2 -5 years work experience with OPWDD population a plusMust be able to multi-task; computer literate, detail-oriented and have excellent verbal and written skillsValid NYS Driver’s LicenseJob Description: Independent Living Association is seeking a dynamic Behavioral Intervention Specialist to provide psychological services for all Individuals in the residencesResponsibilities include but are not limited to: Evaluating the Individuals enrolled in all ILA programsDraft behavior plans, as well as monitor the individuals' behavior data and psychiatric issuesIn-servicing the staff about behavioral issuesDraft clinical presentations for the Human Rights Committee (HRC), Individualized Service Plan (ISP) review meetings, ILA Residential Staff meetings and Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetingsInterface with psychiatric, psychotherapy and psycho-sexual services when necessaryConduct monthly audits and submit it to the supervisorAll other duties as requiredJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $54,000.00 /year
