Rapidly expanding CPA firm in Manhattan Beach, CA (Los Angeles County), providing accounting services to small to mid-size businesses, seeks outstanding Accounting Manager to join our team. As an Accounting Manager, you will act as a financial concierge, overseeing all financial aspects related to a given client or group of clients, using the latest technology, and providing outstanding and innovative accounting services. You will have the opportunity to grow your accounting skills/knowledge, your management skills and have the flexibility to work remotely in a culture of optimism and collaboration.

Essential Job Functions-

·Oversee a team of three accountants

·Provide full charge bookkeeping to a variety of clients

·Prepare financial reports and year-end tax packages for tax CPAs

·Demonstrate the ability to manage the assigned workload, stay on top of client deadlines, and reach out to teammates for deliverables proactively

Education, Skills, & Experience-

· Bachelors in Accounting or related field required

· 4+ years’ experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financials required

·Expert knowledge in QuickBooks required

· Tech savvy – high degree of computer literacy, specifically Outlook and Excel

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience working for a law firm or CPA/Accounting firm is a plus
